Week 20
Previous Weight: 290 lbs
Current Weight: 285 lbs
Change: 5 lbs lost
Total: 75 lbs lost
Still going strong. Don't really know what to say besides that. The pessimist in me keeps wondering when the other shoe is going to drop. But as you can see, I'm not wearing shoes in this picture, so no problem there.
Once again, Grandpa Carrigan had a great idea - On the right, I've added a little "Photo Gallery" doohickey. Clicking the All 52 Weeks Photos link will take you to a page where you can see all the pictures at once. There's even a slideshow button, if that's your thing.
Also... I probably shouldn't wear a white t-shirt in front of a white wall, huh?
Pants Comparison
The ones in the back are the size I was wearing in January - 54x30. The front pants are the size I'm wearing in the Week 20 photo - 46x29. I've even gotten an inch shorter!

Week 19
Previous Weight: 294 lbs
Current Weight: 290 lbs
Change: 4 lbs lost
Total: 70 lbs lost
Another couple weeks like this, and I'll be halfway to my goal. I continue to be surprised by how easy it's been, once I got started. Even when I have a day where I don't feel like exercising, once I'm actually working out it doesn't seem so bad. If you can overcome the mental hurdles, the physical ones are nothing.

Week 18
Previous Weight: 298 lbs
Current Weight: 294 lbs
Change: 4 lbs lost
Total: 66 lbs lost
When I started this (way back in January), I was wearing size 54 waist and a 4XL shirt. I've long since bought smaller pants, which are already starting to get a bit loose around the middle, but hadn't really bothered with shirts.
When I was home last weekend, big sister kept mentioning that my clothes were starting to look a little baggy. I didn't really notice it at the time, though I did know I could fit into a 3XL shirt I hadn't been able to wear before. So yesterday, I decided to pick up a couple more 3XL t-shirts, but didn't bother to try them on in the store. I put one on later that day, and it seemed even looser than the old, larger t-shirts.
So, I tried on a couple of the 2XL shirts I've got in my "these will fit again someday" box. And they do! Somewhere, I skipped almost an entire shirt size. It's still a little snug, and my belly pulls the bottom up a bit, but I couldn't even get one of those shirts on before now.
I guess the point of all this is: I'm really looking forward to not having to shop in the "Big and Tall" section anymore.
Also, not sure why, but this week even I can see the difference from the last photo.

Week 16 Photo
Interesting note about this week's picture: the shorts I'm wearing hadn't fit me for a couple of years, and now they're a little loose.
