Week 33
Previous Weight: 243 lbs
Current Weight: 241 lbs
Change: 2 lbs lost
Total: 119 lbs lost
By the way, if anyone needs me, I'll be here for the next few days.
My goal is not to lose 156 pounds in a year. It's to lose 3 pounds this week.
We took my measurements at the gym this morning, before my training session. Since I joined in February, I've lost 10 inches on my chest (buh-bye man-boobs! I won't miss you when you're all gone!), 13 inches on my waist, and 12 along my hips. My thighs are almost 2 inches smaller than they were a month ago, and over 7" from my first measurements.
That is all.

Wow. I only have another fifty pounds to go. In contrast, on Week 13 I'd just lost 50 pounds. I figure about three more months, and I'll be at 200 lbs.
Ran into some folks this weekend, who haven't seen me in a while. It's kind of fun to see someone's jaw drop when they figure out who this skinny guy they're talking to is.

Lessons learned from this weekend's Tour de Vail/Buffalo Lake Days:

Change: 4 lbs lost
Total: 101 lbs lost
So yeah... there you are. I'm pretty excited about this week's total, but I've also had a few days to get used to the idea. We took my measurements at the gym on Thursday, and I was down 99 1/2 lbs total. Close, but not quite there yet. I figured I'd break through this week. It spoiled the surprise a little, but I guess I'll have to live with that :-)

Awesome! Closing in on Triple Digits... We'll be there before we know it.
Any doubts I may have had over the past few weeks? Yeah, that last comparison pretty much took care of them. It helps, psychologically, to see the changes side-by-side like that.
